Fine Arts

With a background in Fine Arts, I have a wide range of studio practices that I enjoy. I have experience in painting, drawing, printmaking, sculpture, collage, sewing, dyeing, and more. I use these skills to strengthen and inspire my specialized skills of felting and pattern design.

Painting

I learned to paint when I was thirteen and learned with acrylic paints. I also use watercolor, gouache, and ink to paint in my studio.

Sketchbooks

Having an experimental sketchbook is something I learned the value of while at school. I use my sketchbook to play with mediums and textures.

Textiles

Textiles opens doors to many different textile techniques that had me experimenting with sewing, weaving, screen printing, and more. All of these things are passions I continue to enjoy as hobbies.

Sculpture / Installation

Sculpture pushes my creative boundaries to experiment with an unfamiliar medium to play with light and silhouette.

Drawing

Drawing is one of my most favorite mediums with graphite being my favorite thing to sketch with. I also enjoy the detail that comes with color pencil that uses the same rules of color mixing as my needle felt.
